The coffee grown in Guatemala is world renowned - and for good reason - beans from here are some of the best you can find. Join us on on our half-day coffee tour to experience some of the world's best coffee, from finca to cup!

On our tour, you'll visit a local coffee cooperative's fincas, meet local coffee farmers, learn about Guatemala's coffee history, learn hands-on how this special product is produced and attend an introductory coffee cupping and brewing class!

This tour departs from Atitlan. Your guide will meet you at your accommodation or a central location within Panajachel.

Itinerary

Day 1

Start your coffee adventure with a scenic boat ride from Panajachel across the beautiful Lake Atitlán to San Juan la Laguna

Upon arrival, dive into the world of Atitlán’s coffee with an introduction to the local coffee farms.

Visit a local organic coffee plantation and witness each stage of the coffee production process.

Continue the tour with an in-depth look at the processing stages, including drying, sorting, and roasting.

Finally, experience the result of this process with a freshly brewed cup of Atitlán coffee.

Conclude the tour with a relaxing boat ride back to Panajachel, carrying with you a newfound appreciation for Atitlán’s coffee and its journey from farm to cup.
