Overview

At 75 kilometers from Flores, in the Yaxha-Nakum-Naranjo National Park, there are two archaeological jewels: the Mayan city of Yaxha and the adjacent site of Topoxte. Yaxha, situated between the impressive Lagunas Yaxha and Sacnab, is a ceremonial center of great importance, adorned with two ball games, four acropolis and more than four hundred structures that stand majestic over the landscape. From here, the sunsets on the lagoons offer unforgettable shows. Extending the route to Topoxte, it is navigated by the Yaxha lagoon to further enter the history and natural beauty of the region, thus completing a truly unique archaeological and landscape experience.

Itinerary

Day 1

Departure from your hotel in Flores or the World Maya Airport.

Arrival at Yaxha and visit the archaeological site. Including Group A, Group B, Group C, Temple 216, Acropolis North Group Malher, imposing Calzades and an unrivaled landscape of the two lagoons Sacnab-Yaxha.

Visit of the archaeological site Topoxte sailing through the Yaxha lagoon.

Time for lunch (drinks not included)
