Acatenango Camping Hike
Prepare for an extraordinary trip to the Acatenango Volcano, the third highest in Guatemala. On this guided tour you will be able to camp at the top of the volcano after climbing during the day, to enjoy an incredible sunrise the next day.
Departure from the meeting point, Café Condesa in the Central Park.
You will arrive at "La Soledad" where it will be the starting point of the walk.
Lunch en route.
Arrival at base camp, where the domes will be installed for six people.
Dinner around the campfire.
Stargazing and view of the erupting Fire Volcano (if conditions allow).
Wake up early to ascend to the summit and watch the sunrise.
Final climb to the summit of the Acatenango Volcano.
Breakfast at the summit.
Descent to base camp.
Start of the descent towards the starting point.
Transportation back to the meeting point in Antigua.
