Itinerary

Day 1

Upon arrival at the airport, your driver will be waiting for you at the door of the right side with a sign with your name.

This first day marks the beginning of a unique experience in one of Guatemala's most historic and vibrant cities.

The trip, approximately 1.5 hours, will allow you to start enjoying the colonial charm of Antigua, although it is subject to the conditions of the traffic.

From there, you will be heading to your accommodation in Antigua Guatemala, where you will stay in a shared room in one of the most renowned hostels in the city.

Day 2

Start your day at 9:00 AM by immersing you in the rich history and charm of La Antigua Guatemala with a 3-hour tour of this colonial jewel, declared a World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO.

You will return to Antigua Guatemala at around 8:00 PM, after a day full of history, adventure and breathtaking landscapes.

You will leave at 2:00 PM from your hotel in Antigua Guatemala to the San Francisco trail to start the ascent to the volcano. At 3:30 PM, you will start the exciting climb, culminating in a spectacular panoramic view at 5:00 PM.

During the morning, you'll explore landmarks such as Central Square, the Colonial Art Museum, the San Francisco Church and the picturesque Street of the Arc, while you're marvels at the magic of this historic city.

Day 3

Start your day at 5:30 AM with a trip to Panajachel, the gateway to the dazzling Lake Atitlan. From there, embark on a tour of the picturesque villages that surround the lake, keep in mind, in Panajachel we include breakfast.

Then, in San Juan La Laguna, you will visit the Meliponario, the textile association and its iconic colored streets.

In Santiago Atitlán, you will explore the local church, meet the Lady of the Tocoyal, tour the market and have time for lunch.

At the end of this enriching tour, you will rest in Panajachel in a hostel with a shared room, enjoying the stunning views that this beautiful landscape offers.

Day 4

Immerse yourself in the local culture while touring the market, observing colorful Mayan ceremonies, sales of fresh vegetables and typical food.

Enjoy the experience at your own pace, and if you wish, you can request a local guide to enrich your visit.

At 8:00 AM, start your day with a shared transfer to Chichicastenango, where you will have the opportunity to explore one of the largest and most vibrant markets in Central America.

At 4:00 PM, your transfer will take you back to your accommodation in Panajachel, after a day full of culture and tradition in the heart of the Guatemalan altiplano.

Day 5

Take into account that the journey can last between 3.5 and 4 hours, so it is important to choose the schedule that best fits your flight itinerary.

To finish your trip, select from the time available for your shared transfer to La Aurora International Airport.

The options available are 05:00 AM, 09:00 AM, 12:00 PM, and 4:00 PM, ensuring that you arrive with enough time for your flight and you can close your adventure in Guatemala in a calm and carefree way.
