Ascent along forest trails with uneven terrain (roots, volcanic sand and loose stones).
Arrival at intermediate viewpoints, stops to take photos and appreciate the panoramic views of Lake Coatepeque and the Izalco Volcano.
At the top of the Santa Ana Volcano, contemplate the majestic crater with its turquoise lagoon, one of El Salvador's most impressive natural landscapes. Free time to rest, take photos, and enjoy the scenery.
Descending the trail, we walk back to the starting point, with breaks for hydration and rest.
End of the hike and time for a snack or light lunch, a chance to recharge and relax after the adventure.
